This is an original woodblock print, hand-pulled from a small edition of 30, and inspired by my old thermos that I still use to this day! The print is matted for easy framing, and would be a lovely addition to a kitchen, coffee bar area, or gallery wall.

the process:
After drawing my design, the image is carved into wood using chisels and gouges. Ink is rolled onto the surface of the block, and the reverse image is transferred to paper. Multiple blocks were layered to create the final print. Each artwork is printed by hand, please embrace slight variations :)
about my work:
I'm a full time artist with a BFA from Laguna College of Art & Design, where I majored in drawing and painting, working primarily from life and the nude figure. My work is inspired by nature, my everyday surroundings, and a collection of old photographs. I show in galleries and exhibitions in addition to selling work directly from my studio.
