18th century George III Marble Top Giltwood Demilune Table. This large table features a later beautiful marble top inlaid with Various marbles including Sienna and Verde Antico, on a conforming giltwood base decorated with bellflower swags, popular during the Adams Period, from around 1770 to 1785 when the Neoclassical style of architecture and interior design became popular.
The marble's decorative inlay is in the pattern of scrolling florals in green and brown, enhancing its visual appeal. Table is raised on fluted legs ending in leaf carved feet.
