This monumental antique European religious lithograph by artist F. Courtin depicts 'Jesus Comforting the Daughters of Jerusalem'. Lithograph printed by Gérard René Le Villain, in Paris at Noël Publisher. It is very much in the 'shabby chic' genre with a frame that shows centuries of wear giving it that old world air. *There are two more lithographs in this series of three for sale in my store in case you are interested in making a statement wall hanging.
In fair condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including significant damage to the bottom of the frame and foxing on the print, especially visible on the border around the image.
