Indulge in the ornamentation of large tumble bead amethyst gems interspersed with creamy white lustrous faux pearls with this statement-making necklace. The gems and pearls are woven together in classic beading using 18k gold plated brass.

About Kenneth Jay Lane
American costume jewelry designer Kenneth Jay Lane was born in 1930 and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design. such as Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland and Audrey Hepburn. He still is to this day one of the most influential jewellery makers of all time. He designed shoes for Delman and Christian Dior before launching his eponymous line of costume jewelry. Known for creating glamorous and innovative costume jewelry, Mr. Lane became a favorite among the American social elite of the '60s. Style icons such as Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland and Audrey Hepburn all wore his designs. Over five decades later, he is considered one of the most legendary and influential costume jewelers of all time.
