This really is a Exceptionally Nice Antique American Sterling Silver Mustard Pot. It Comes From the Classic Victorian Era - Circa 1870s. This is a Completely Hand Made - One of a Kind Piece of Silver. It is Rendered in a Elaborately Detailed Revolving Outdoor Scene that Includes Waterwheel Grinding Mill Cottage & Cabin - A Wild Boar Hunting Scene with Hunters on Horseback and Running Dogs All with Mountains - Hills - Pine Trees in the Background Etc. The Wonderful Attention to Detail in the Hand Chased, High Relief Repousse & Engraved Decorated Features Confirms that it would have Been Made by a Master Silversmith. In Addition it Still Retains its Original Beautiful Deep Cobalt Blue Hand Blown Art Glass Style Insert. The Classic Ladle Design Sterling Silver Spoon ( Marked ) is Not Quite as Old as the Mustard Pot - Would have Been Made Approx 1900. It has No Maker or Silver Marks but This is Not Uncommon in American Silver Items From This Era. It is in Excellent - Perfectly Usable Condition - Displays Beautifully. No Damage. It is Lightly Tarnished. The Mustard Pot ( Not Including the Glass Insert ) and Spoon have a Substantial Combined Sterling Silver Weight of Approx 62 Grams / 1.992 Troy Ounces.
