Square in shape, it has what we call cut out corners that add a nice detail, the compote also has a pedestal base that gives it a nice lift to the bowl. To scrolling handles on the side add lovely detail as well. Pretty piece to use as a centerpiece on a dinner table full of lemons, it’s equally as lovely on a bookcase.

Nice condition, no cracks, no chips. There are imperfections that occur during the making of the piece that would include some over paint and glaze or uneven paint or glaze, as this piece was hand, painted and hand glazed. less
