Superior and charming vintage Chinese headrests or pillows used originally on Kang beds in the traditional style home. Both girl & boy wear different outfits with gorgeous lotus, flowers & auspicious objects on their clothes and the base border. These are large and painted in rich enamels and highlighted with decorative gold work on the ribbons. Decorated in Hong Kong by Mr. Kung, porcelain merchant in Hong Kong.
Each is 'chopped'/stamped in red (4 character mark) on the underside, with protective felt pads on each.
Qianlong Nian Zhi - "Qianlong Period, Made", 1970.
The condition of the decorative ornaments is very good. A little wear to the 'gold' balls on the ribbons.
