Charming Vintage impressionist oil portrait painting, featuring a portrait of a young boy, face painted in realist manner with abstract background. Signed in the lower right side by listed American artist Maurice Glickman. Titled Portrait of " Littled Jimmie" Aug - 1927
Created with oils on artistic canvas board. Housed under glass in an ornate gilded frame with intricate floral carvings, with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.
Maurice Glickman (January 6, 1906 – May 1981) was an American sculptor noted for his New Deal-era sculpture for public buildings. He was named a Guggenheim Fellow in 1934.[1] He founded the School of Art Studies in New York and was its director from 1945 to 1955.[2] His work is in the Albany Institute of History and Art, and in the Hirschorn Museum.
