This "Piero Fornasetti for Bonwit Teller" tea set was handmade in Italy, by Este Ceramiche Porcellane, the oldest producer of porcelain in Italy. Este Ceramiche Porcellane is well known and still in operation today. Bonwit Teller was a small chain of "stupendously luxurious" department stores, known for very fine quality merchandise. This fifteen piece set comes from a Fisher Island estate, and consists of pot, sugar, creamer, five cups, six saucers.
