Avon's Cape Cod Collection was designed to be reminiscent of early American pressed glass called "sandwich" whose lacy, intricate designs were inspired by the classic "Roman Rosette" pattern. This set of 8 medium sized goblets were made in NY, USA in the mid century era and feature wonderfully thick and heavy glass in a deep ruby red coloring with a geometrical base and details around the glass. They are medium in size - and were originally intended for wine.
