This zodiac rabbit figure is carved from natural untreated green and yellow jade. The rabbit is stepping on fortune coin, chasing a lucky ball, with a bat and Luyi wrapping on its body. Jade is believed to have a protective function ( against the bad fortune ) in the Chinese culture. It is a nice meaningful gift for friends and loved ones who were born in the year of the rabbit.
Chinese zodiac cycle Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. The Rat is the first in the 12-year cycle. The Years of Rat is 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020, 2032 and on.
Luyi symbol means everything you wish will come true.
The animal bat means "lucky fortune and prosperity" because the sound to read the bat is the same as "福" (lucky with fortune) in Chinese words, that is why the bat is used in all the Chinese carving.
