Introducing the exclusive limited edition Fazzoletto vase, a masterpiece created by the historic Murano Glass company Venini. Limited to only 499 pieces from the 2000s production, each Fazzoletto vase is a unique work of art, meticulously hand-blown by the master Vetrai at Venini.
Designed by the renowned artist Fulvio Bianconi in the 1950s, this handcrafted treasure exemplifies the exceptional craftsmanship that has made Venini a world-famous name in Italian Murano glass since its establishment in 1921.
The dramatic contrast between the black exterior and the contrasting white interior creates a visually stunning composition, making it a true statement of artistic excellence. The exceptional combination of colors in this edition makes it an extraordinary collector's item, destined to be cherished and admired for generations to come.
Venini Historic Murano Venice Glass Company was established originally in 1921 by two partners Giacomo Cappellin who was an antique Venetian dealer and lawyer Paolo Venini. The collection began with simple blown glass classic and baroque designs to then evolved to more elaborated pieces thanks to the partnership with designers such as Carlo Scarpa Ettore Sottsass and Gio Ponti, forward-thinkers architects and designers who contributed to elevating the company to a leading role uphold even today, a century from its foundation. The owner himself Paolo Venini designed many different products. Venini History is a story of excellence and innovation but also a ‘family’ story, growing around the famous ‘furnace’ kiln, where craftsmanship blended with dreams to forge timeless and successful designs which are still produced today from the same little island of Murano. less
