Offering a remarkable RARE pair of completely restored vintage hand painted Chinese Tobacco Leaf lamps, circa Mid to early 20th Century. These are very old lamps and they needed to be completely overhauled. They were disassembled, the ginger jars were thoroughly cleaned, the wood bases were freshly lacquered, new clear electrical cords were added for safety, and ALL the brass hardware needed to be completely replaced with new shiny brass vase caps, necks, sockets, harps, and finials. DESIGNER READY.
The beautiful colored leaves and flowers are done in the "Famille Rose" enamelware porcelain style with a heavy textural glaze. Large pink flowers and leaves are both on the front and back of the porcelain with pastel leaves on the sides of the jar....just magnificent hand painted Chinese craftsmanship at its best!
EXCELLENT RESTORED CONDTION......faint hairline on one of the lids, barely visible (mentioned only for thoroughness).
