The sofa is in … Read more Fabulous vintage Art Deco or Hollywood Regency sofa with a tufted back and concave pillowed arms. The sofa is in solid wonderful condition, but its original white damask fabric will need to be replaced even though we have had it cleaned. We did that so it would show a little better in the photos. Please see those photos. Circa 1950s-1960s.

Please just look at this phenomenal sofa. Look at its shape. Look at its style. DO NOT look at its fabric!! Well you can look at its beautiful original damask fabric because it would look outstanding in a new one but not this original fabric. It’s seen better days. But the shape and style…WOW! It’s rather chaise-like. And we are not sure whether to call it Art Deco or Hollywood Regency. Kind of a blend of both. The back has a concave curve which is very unusual plus it is tufted, or diamond tucked whichever you want to call it. And the arms. Talk about unusual. They angle outward with a concave curve and a loose pillow laying in that curve. Perfect place to lie your head for a nap! It originally had a skirt, but we chose to remove it. We like it better that way. More tailored. Less froufrou. Anyway, it is an incredible sofa…you should make it yours!
