Thus this set was one that had the chairs upholstered for indoor use and without the mesh seats. The seat cushions are therefore attached to the metal frames. Desirable for an interior dining room. The dining table has been painted black but is bleeding thru to show a pink paint underneath. The finish on the chairs and upholstery are very good and useable for their vintage. The glass top needs to be replaced.
I have added a photo from the Salterini catalog showing the set offered here. It is interesting that the color of the set in the photo is the color used on my chairs. The photo shows the exact Della Robbia group and shows it being used indoors in a Dining Room. This set was made for indoor use. No maker's mark. less
