These Mason's Ironstone soup bowls in the rare Mandarin pattern date to 1919. The three of them match nicely; from the same firing and all painted by the same hand. The condition is good, and consistent with their age and very light usage. The gold edging and highlights are very good and there are no cracks, chips or repairs. Colorful, gilt edged ironstone serving platter or display piece by Mason's. The pattern is Mandarin, featuring a Chinoiserie themed design with peonies and a vase.
