Bring a radiant touch to your home with this eye-catching gilt wood sunburst battery operated clock. Hand-carved in Spain circa 1970, the vintage clock features a circular center timepiece made in Germany, framed by mirrored insets and gilded, mirrored rays that radiate outward. This striking design draws from classical 18th-century French motifs which became popular in the 19th century, often serving as a bold decorative statement in interiors. The clock’s bold, radiating lines and rich golden hue reflect the timeless appeal of this enduring style. It is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gold finish. This elegant wall clock would be a nice addition to a living room, den or hallway. Unsure if the clock mechanism is in working condition. Clock face could be removed and replaced with a piece of mirror to turn it into a sunburst mirror.
