Here we have a lovely vintage reproduction French Rococo style cast brass fireplace screen and tool set. I believe this set dates to the 1980's.
The tool set is quite heavy and made from solid cast brass as is the fireplace screen frame. The cast brass has been nickel plated with an intentionally aged/antiqued finish. The actual screen itself is made from stretched steel. The height of the tool stand is 28 inches and the height of the screen is 27 inches. Five pieces included in the set: tool stand, shovel, broom, poker and fireplace screen.
Very very good clean condition, I find NO damage whatsoever. There is one spot to the finish on the ash shovel, please see pics. The broom and poker appear to be unused. Overall a nice quality vintage fireplace set. I will be removing the fireplace screen legs and the tool stand base in order to pack for shipping. Buyer will need to reattach the legs with a screwdriver and rescrew the nut on the tool stand base with a crescent wrench. Please feel free to ask questions....thanks for looking!!! less
