Perfect Vintage Couroc of Monterey Serving Tray Depicting Two Yellow Warblers on a Branch. This tray was found in original plastic cover and with original gift box. I don't think it was ever used and maybe not even taken out of the box. Not a mark on it.
The Couroc Company was founded by Guthrie Courvoisier and his wife Moira Wallace, who was an artist, in 1948. They designed and made thousands of trays, bowls & accessories which were hand inlaid by master craftsmen using shells, coins, woods & metals. Each piece is one of a kind. Sadly, Couroc stopped production of these beautiful trays in 1998.
One of the company's advertisement states "Any tray can serve a drink. Only Couroc can start a conversation." Still true to this day.
The tray measures 18" wide, 12.375" tall &. 75" deep less
