This Adirondack style basket measures … Read more Vintage, large Gathering Basket with handle hand made of twigs woven and tied with cane. This Adirondack style basket measures 15" by 15" and is 18" high from the bottom to the top of the handle. The sides are tapered so that the top opening of the basket is 9 1/2" square. The interior of the basket is 7 1/2" high, great for accommodating small pieces of firewood, folded blankets or a pot with greenery or a plant. The basket is sturdy and weighs 4 lbs, 2 oz. which allows it to be filled high and not tip over. All sides are fashioned from well-matched, fairly straight branches with the natural bark left on and the handle has been made of 2 branches twisted around each other. All corners and the handle are securely fastened with lashed cane. A rustic piece ideal to add a primitive element to your space or to hold holiday decor at your door. See less
