This exquisite mid-nineteenth century sculpture features a nude woman in silvered bronze with parcel gilt accents. The figure embodies grace and allure, reminiscent of the goddess Venus.
She is depicted in a kneeling posture with a water jug beside her, showcasing a graceful, welcoming hand gesture conveying an inviting presence. This statue symbolizes abundance, sexuality, fertility, beauty, luck, and love.
The craftsmanship is remarkable, with jewel-quality tooling and chasing that highlights the exquisite detailing on the base and her tousled golden locks. The delicate parcel gilt nails and toenails further enhance the overall beauty of the piece.
