Antique beautiful veneer frame case with mother of pearl inset floral design. The case probably dates to the mid 19th century and is probably English.
Miniature Victorian tortoise shell case with Daguerrotype. Case is tortoise veneered and inlaid with mother of pearl.
The beautiful case is in good condition given its age with some cracking, chips and surface scratching to the tortoise shell. Also some losses to mother of pearl inlay.
The inside of the case has gold tone framing and On the left hand side, a floral and urn embossed, burgundy velvet cover pad.
