In classic form with hand-finished silver metal rims. Soft pink contrasting rich red depict two hybrid tea roses in bloom and bud form, while many shades of green enamels complete the verdant leaves. Master craftsmanship is also evident in the vase's perfectly smooth surface, achieved through painstaking polishing. Stamped with the artist's signature mark on the base, this distinguished piece dates to the late Meiji period and remains one of Ando Jubei’s finest and most collectible works, a true testament to his celebrated mastery of cloisonné art. less
