From electro-mechanical devices to automation systems. The history of this company is extensive and begins in 1929 as the national radiator society. 1936 known as heinrich list works for electrical engineering and mechanics. The manufacturing profile included electrical measuring devices, test equipment, resistors and equipment for air armament. In 1940 the “gesellschaft für flugzeugbedarf” settled there. 1941 founding of the company dr. Hell with a range that includes teleprinters, equipment for the navy as well as radio and tracking devices. 1946 founding of askania feinmechanis und optik gmbh teltow. Two years later it was expropriated and renamed "veb mechanik askania teltow". At the beginning of 1952, the newly appointed plant manager josef triebe decided to develop the company into an industrial automation company. In 1954, the company was renamed veb geräte-. And regler-werke teltow. From 1962 onwards, a targeted and rapid development took place, which continued until 1972. In 1983, a comprehensive change began for the company. With around 200 employees, the digital process control system "audatec " developed. The industrial use of "audatec" began in 1984. The generation of systems created with it changed all operational processes from project planning to production, assembly and commissioning to service. Grw was one of the few companies in the world to develop semiconductor pressure sensors and created industrial production for this in cooperation with mikroelektronik stahnsdorf (wafer). With these sensors, a new generation of "audapas" operational measuring devices for pressure measurements was created.
