The Franciscan dinnerware are all hand painted and made in California., USA. This Desert Rose pattern is in the Smithsonian Museum of American Culture. First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy selected this Franciscan Desert Rose pattern dinnerware for casual use while President John F. Kennedy was in the White House. The set has the Franciscan mark and number stamped on the back of each bowl, as shown in the photo. In very good condition, consistent with age and use. .There are no stains, cracks or knicks.
