A colorful composition that explores imagery of death and resurrection, this monumental painting depicts Christ rising from his tomb. A despondent Saint Peter with rooster are pictured to the right of Christ. The writing across the top of the painting reads: "The die was cast the cast intact. 12 men. 1 Christ.
