These … more This pair of holiday carolers are sure to add interest and a bit of whimsy to your holiday decor. These are exquisitely hand painted on Cypress knees which are the roots that rise above the ground from Cypress trees, which grow near the water from the southern state of Delaware to southeast Texas in the United States.

The attention to detail is exceptional among the buttoned white coat shaded for depth, the fur trimmed hat, and red mittens. The child is hidden and painted within the skirt. Their presence would command attention due to their height and craftsmanship on your mantel, holiday table or kitchen island.

The unknown artist signature is on the bottom, however, she well known to me as these were hand painted by my late mother, Frances Cooper in 2000.
