Originally found in Trastevere in 1849 and installed in the Museo Pio-Clementino in Rome, this Roman copy of the Greek original by Lysippos is considered one of the most beautiful male sculpture of antiquity. Ours being a cast of the Vatican marble. Provenance: Used as a prop in the 1941 American film by Orson Welles, "Citizen Kane" See less
