Ken Edward's pottery is lead free, microwave safe, freezer safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. This bowl is no longer made at the factory and hasn't been made for years. I bought two from a collector if anyone wants two. It is in amazing condition with no chips or cracks, and a version that has the painted design inside and outside the bowl. This was the high end for Ken Edward's because the design is hard to make and all the hand painting. I think people are going toward collecting a more casual type of dinnerware for today's living and this bowl is so boho and fun. less
