Description: This is a beautiful Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain baluster vase decorated with Foo Dogs (mythical lions) in iron red glazes … more This is a beautiful Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain baluster vase decorated with Foo Dogs (mythical lions) in iron red glazes on a white background. There is one very large and one small Foo Dog both painted in iron red and another small Foo Dog painted in a deep jade green. The opposite side of the vase has rows of Chinese calligraphic details which include the maker's mark, along with a stamped bottom. The vase also has reticulated butterfly-wing "ears" painted in gold.

This is an exquisite and timeless vase. In the Feng Shui practice, the vase may be placed near the entrance of a home or office as it is believed to invite prosperity, good fortune, and protection into the space. less
