Born in 1961, Christophe Jehan is a French artist. He studied architecture in Paris then, after his diploma, he exercised this profession in the Caribbean, while painting in his spare time. He then returned to France, settled in the southwest, where he devoted himself entirely to painting.
His works are part of a figurative approach. The artist explores a playful and lively universe. In his sculptures as in his paintings, the artist captures scenes of life whose characters question our imagination. The artist gives them names and stories, which are nourished by all the encounters of life. Thus, his colorful and animated canvases convey the feeling of deep joy.
Christophe Jehan begins to exhibit in the markets, before he is spotted by a gallery which regularly exhibits his works.
