Impressionist European landscape painting by Elmyr De Hory (1906-1976), front of canvas signed
C. Pissaro, back of canvas signed Elmyr. Oil on canvas. Frame dimensions, height 30.5" width 36". Painting dimensions, height 23.5" width 29.5". Elmyr De Hory was a noted painting forger. There was a book written about his life by Clifford Irving titled "Fake". There was also a documentary film by Orson Wells, about De Hory, titled F for Fake.
