This two volume set is a very early edition of the famous book, in two parts as originally published. Very good condition, inscribed on first page of each book. The binding is very tight and the cover is excellent, but it does have discoloration on each. The book was later rebound in 3/4 leather on maroon boards. I found no major tears, writing, or major wear. Please note that the circular spots you might see in photos are not stain, they are just photography glares.
Each book measures 6 5/8" x 5 3/4".
