William C. Grauer watercolor of a rocky coastline circa 1940s. On heavy weight paper. William Grauer was a painter, muralist, and art teacher in Cleveland. In 1934 he and his wife founded the Old White Art Colony, School, and Gallery in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. In later years, his work became increasingly abstract.
