This antique table from France features an overall rectangular shaped top which has been nicely emphasized with wavy/scallop-carved edges about all four sides, giving this piece a shapely and fluid design style. The apron is houses a small drawer set within its center along one longer side. The table is raised upon four exaggerated cabriole style legs, with outlined and volute carvings down their front sides. This wood has a custom taupe/beige finish with a complimentary grey about the top and down the trim accent on the legs. Leg clearance between the floor and apron is approximately 24 inches. This 19th century French table or desk is just shy of 4.5 feet in width, and would be a great option for a piece to be floated within a room. less
