On the obverse side, the Laureate head of Hadrian with drapery over his left shoulder. On the reverse side, a hippopotamus standing facing right with a Latin "L" and Greek "delta" above. The coin has a solid gold trim around its perimeter, and a round cut diamond on top of the triangular bale at top.
