Circa … Read more This is a Great Looking and Very Fine Quality Antique English Sheffield Silverplate Table Top Lemon Press - Juicer. Circa Early 1900s. It is Completely Hand Made. The Base and Press are Made Out Solid Oak. The Actual Press Top and Strainer Bowl is Made Out of White Staffordshire Pottery. The Risers, Hinge, Screws and Top Decorative Plaque are made Out of a Hard Nonmagnetic Metal with a Bit of a Brassy Color. The Rear Base Mounting Bracket is Embossed with the Makers Initials "H.B" - Possibly ? That of Henry Bourne in Birmingham England, Established 1896. NOTE ( See Photograph in My Listing ) That there is Another Interesting Stamped Hallmark the Depicts The Classic Greek Hermes - Roman Mercury God Logo - Possibly that of Hermes & Company London, a Cruise Ship, Hotel Other Meaning ?. It is in Very Nice All Original Perfectly Usable Condition - No Damage - No Repairs. The Oak Wood Still Retains its Original Varnish that has Developed Beautiful Color and Patina Over the Years. PLEASE NOTE - That The Vast Majority of the Silver Plated Surfaces are Gone Revealing the Brassy Color Hard Metal Underneath. This Would have Occurred as a Result of Numerous Times that It Has Been Polished Over the Years. All in All it has a Great Look - Displays Beautifully!
