To keep it's originality we didn't touch anything and we sell it as we found it. The most important thing is that it works perfectly with weekly windings of the springs with the key that is included. This is a vintage Kinzle (Schramberg/Black Forest, Germany) pendulum mantel or shelf clock. High quality produced clock in an excellent wooden case. Nice Art Deco style with some wooden decorations. All original antique clock from the 1930's chimes every 30 minutes from 3 chime rods. The chime is clear (check video at my Pinterest page: https://pin.it/36zq5nX) and will let you know each half hour and on full hours what time it is with the number of gongs.
