Offered is a large and stately ornamental table sculpture in brass of a burro (the long ears), or a llama (the long neck and short body), or a South Central Asian Bukhara or Dhokra horse (the long straight neck and perky short tail).
While reminiscent of Sergio Bustamante's whimsical pieces, it has debossed Mughlai-inspired carved details on the harness, bridle, and the tail, and the patina is burnished but still bright.
It would add global chic flair to a console table, a mantlepiece, a library - as a bookend - or, perhaps, as a floor sculpture or door-stop. It is definitely a must have for anyone who loves a brass menagerie or enjoys equestrian style.
It measures 21" tall, 9" tail to muzzle, 3.75" deep at torso, and weighs approximately 11 lbs. less
