ITEM DESCRIPTION
Pass on the glorious past with this sumptuous Victorian slipper chair. Walnut carvings in the Harvest Vine pattern with cascading scrolls, carved fruits and nuts and incised stiles with finials. Brass castors, scrolled side arms and a needlepoint seat with flowers and turned legs. Attributed to Thomas Brooks. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. Very sturdy. Castors roll smoothly. No serious damage or repairs.
