The inner border of the … more A pair of Italian dark red intaglios with gilt edges set in vintage Bakelite frames. The inner border of the frame has a narrow strip of gilded brass with a delicate floral-like pattern. The oval opening has been updated with a beautiful fabric for its backdrop, and the intaglios fixed atop. These frames are in great vintage condition, and soft black geometric lines on the frame create interest. We have a few more like this example posted in our shop.
