Late 19th century Italian sorrento occasional table, circa 1900, decorated with an inlaid fruitwood marquetry. The "tumbling block" pattern feels at once historic and modern simultaneously.
Hexagonal top with canted corners, the geometric pattern is rich and varied in oxidization and patina. It stands on a turned stem with scrolled legs.
Feet show original wear and losses.
