Handwoven large Zapotec textile art with custom handmade solid wood wall display hanger. The textile is handwoven wool and made in Mexico. I commissioned a skilled craftsman to make the custom wood hanger - made in America. The solid wood hanger has two sawtooth brackets on the back and is ready for display. I have used the piece as wall decor in the recent past.

A dazzling Zapotec diamond when viewed from left to right, each step in the diamond symbolizes a different stage of life beginning with conception. The steps reach a zenith, which is followed by a decrease in energy as life continues into the other world, the world of souls, until rebirth. Each point in the Zapotec diamond represents the cardinal points and their different life energies.
