A Mid Century Italian ‘Gatto’ table lamp designed by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in the 1960s. This sculptural fixture features an enameled steel frame with a “cocoon” sprayed resin shade, which emits an ambient glow when lit. Named after a cat, this lamp can perch just about anywhere. Unmarked. Sourced in Italy, 1960s.
Condition: Great overall vintage condition. Minor wear to the cocoon shade including areas of discoloration and marks throughout, which can be seen in photographs. This lamp was professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new ivory SPT cord, inline switch, and single E-26 white socket. Accepts one standard light bulb. less
