A rare, likely custom ordered Sofa or Settee, designed by T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings with a bleached Walnut frame and Vellum Strapping. Stunning, elegant neo-classical design. One long cushion on bottom. We’ve had 4 new cushions made for the back. The bleached walnut frame is structurally sound. The vellum strapping is good. The frame has scuff marks to the bottom of the three front legs and three back legs, pictured. As this finish is original we have opted not to refinish the piece and leave it in original finish.
The bottom cushion is likely not original but an older upholstery redo. We like the color and it suits the piece well. The fabric is in good condition with some minor spots. It is reversible.
