Schleissner & Sons, Hanau under the direction of son Daniel Philipp August Schleissner (1825-1891). This set was commissioned by Robert Anstead, Los Angeles silver designer & retailer to the stars. 800 standard silver. Hand raised, cast & with stamped sections joined, an invention for which he was renowned. 154.30 troy oz. (4,798 grams). Kettle on stand: 12.5" h., 10.25" w., 9" d. Kettle alone: 8.75" h. Coffee Pot: 9.5", 8.25" over handle, 4.5" d. Tea Pot: 6.75" h., 9.75" over spout, 5" d. Covered Sugar: 5.25" h., 6.25" w., 3.75" d. Creamer: 5" h., 5 5/8" w., 2 7/8" d.
