Lovely vintage English tole tray with a lively view of Paris' Montmartre neighborhood and the famous Moulin Rouge. Vibrant hues, dynamic brushstrokes, and extensive detailing bring the scene to life. Mark of Daher Decorated Ware and Made in England notation en verso.
We are offering two similar Daher Parisian trays in separate Chez Vous Antiques listings on Chairish should you desire a set for display or tabletop use. One is a large (16.5" Dia.) round model with a scene of the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Montmartre; the other a smaller (12.5" Dia.) example with a scene identical to this listing.
