Central equatorial Africa. Carved from one piece with holes along the bottom edge for raffia attachments. Traces of polychrome remain in various places and significant signs of old repairs in the skull ridge. Repaired by iron clamps and whole sections recarved and inset into the crest. The size is 21" tall by 10" wide. On the display base, it is 26" tall (square steel plinth included). Genuine antique African tribal material from the early 20th century. See less
