Art Deco table lamp, Africanist style.
Black enamel on ochre ceramic base.
Geometric relief patterns / scarifications.
The 7 x 4.75 x 1.5 inch base is black acrylic Lucite.
Stylistically it borders brutalism and abstract modernism in appearance.
This is an early example from circa 1980. It features a circular black fabric shade, 20-inch diameter.
Featuring a hand painted thin black outline forming a banded diagonal geometric pattern.
Carved ivory elephant finial is included.
