Designer/Maker: Dick Seeger – An innovative artist, craftsman and gallerist who settled in Scottsdale, Arizona in the late 1950s. Seeger’s innovative approach, his use of color and composition helped him become an important figure in Scottsdale’s mid-century art and architecture community.
He is listed in the recent Museum of Arts and design publication “Crafting Modernism: Midcentury American Art and Design,” which also includes an illustration of his acrylic work.

We have treasured it for many years and decided to share its joy with the public.
This is the first time is has ever been listed for sale.
It measures 72" x 72" x 1 3/4" thick.
Mr Seeger also built the frame and stretcher.

A hodgepodge of baubles, hand carved boxes, beaded curtains worthy of Austin Powers' "Shagadelic" bachelor pad share space with priceless paintings and rare objets d'art in Dick Seeger's fancifully hip and eclectic art collection. The 78-year old collector and former professional photographer says he is ready to part with his collection if the the right buyer comes along.
Dick Seeger recently passed away. I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to spend many days in his home and his labyrinth in his back yard.
